NEXT STEPS

Church is so much more than just attending a Sunday morning meeting. As sons and daughters, adopted by God, He places us into a tangible spiritual family where we have the joy of sharing our lives, pursuing holiness, and reflecting the glory of Jesus into our God-given spheres of life. So whether you are a child, teen, or adult, we are all in need of being known, loved and encouraged! We want to invite you explore this local community of believers that is Capital City Church. These are four ways that you can do that.

Getting to know anyone or anything in a meaningful way through one interaction is nearly impossible. This is why we encourage you to come for four more weeks. Over this period of time, as you Intentionally engage, you’ll have the opportunity for more involvement, a chance to meet more people, hear more teaching, and time to learn more about who we are as a faith community. If you come for four more, make sure to let us know so that we can help you make the most of your time with us!

1.Come Four More

We are a family, and one thing every family enjoys doing together is eating! On the first Sunday of every month we host “Eat-up”, a time of lunching together for all who would like to join. As a visitor, it’s a great way to meet and be met. In addition, it provides us with the opportunity to be a blessing (spiritually and financially) to our neighboring businesses. You can find our monthly lunch locations by visiting us in person.

2. Join Us for Lunch

The purpose of our hubs are twofold: to anchor the Capital City community in Gospel truth and radiate the beauty of the Gospel into our God-given spheres of life. In light of this, we pursue a balance of both growing and gathering – individual maturation and relational invitation. Each week this aim is pursued as we anchor our Hubs around three core rhythms: communing with one another, cultivating holiness, and responding to our Gospel commissioning.

We welcome you to join us in the joyful gift of Christian community!

4. Commit To Our Community

If you would like to know what It means to be connected in meaningful community, or believe the Lord is placing you with us, we encourage you to consider membership. In the Bible we see a church that is logically ordered, wholly committed, willingly accountable, and joyfully submitted, to each other, those who are called to lead, and ultimately (and most importantly) to the Lord Jesus Himself, who is the Head of the church. In this way, we see membership as a life-giving and grace-imparting gift for each of us to enjoy.

Come and learn what it means to be connected..
