  • LOVE DEEPLY

    Love is at the heart of it all

    It was out of His great love for creation that God sent Jesus to earth to redeem it from sin (Ro 5:6). It was Jesus’ love for us that compelled Him to live wholly, to obey the Father fully, and to joyfully go to the cross (Jn 14:31, Hb 12:2). It was also because of love that God chose and adopted us to be His own before all time began (Eph. 1:4). Because of this great measure of love shown to us, we now strive to live a similar life of love, compassion, and care for all of His creation (1 Jn 4:9-10).

  • LIVE BOLDY

    Courage is not an inward disposition

    The Gospel tells us that without faith in Jesus we are dead in our sin, we are enemies of God, and objects of His wrath–because of this, death is what we are born into (Eph 2). But God, overflowing with mercy and love, took what was dead and breathed life into it–new life. By His resurrection power, we have been delivered, made new, and set free. This is our boldness, that our great God has done great things. Now, we live to speak boldly of what He has done! (Ac. 4:23-31)

  • FINISH FAITHFULLY

    The mark of a true Christian

    In 1 Corinthians 9 Paul tells all Christians essentially to run your race in order to win. But winning wasn’t his ultimate purpose, it was the focus and intent that winning necessitates. The point was that in order to win you must first finish (2 Tim 4:7-8). However, we also know that how we finish is also of great importance (Eph 5:15). We want to inspire Christ-followers to run their race of faith with joy and full assurance (Php 1:6), not just endurance. (Mt 24:13)

  • TEACH OTHERS

    The Gospel is meant to multiply

    The Gospel of Jesus is not just a message for one person, but for all people (Ti 2:11-14). Paul’s instruction to Timothy was insightful into this pattern when he said, “what you have heard from me… entrust to faithful [men and women] who will be able to teach others also.” (2 Tim 2:2) This is our aim: we want to make disciples of Jesus who will in turn make disciples Jesus.

Message

  • Christ-Centered

    Our message is clear and simple

    We confess and preach all of Jesus Christ, (His life, death, resurrection, and ascension) for every aspect of human life. We know the gospel is the power of God for salvation, and we believe that it does not simply inform us, but rather it transforms us! Because of this, we have a high value for faithfully and boldly teaching and applying God’s Word (2 Tim 3:16-17).

  • Spirit-led

    This truth is as equally important.

    As much as we value clear Biblical instruction, we also believe that His Spirit has been given to every Christian for life, obedience, and grace through divine empowerment. So whether we’re gathering to worship Jesus, or whether we’re functioning in our normal rhythms of daily and weekly life, we expect to encounter and live out the real presence of the risen Christ in our lives.

We pursue this balance each week: His glorious Word held in highest esteem and His Spirit encountered in great measure.

We Believe

  • That God has revealed Himself as one God existing eternally in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit; distinguishable yet indivisible.

  • That the Bible is the fully inspired Word of God, the only infallible rule for faith and practice.

  • That God the Father concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of man.

  • That Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son – was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died a substitutionary, atoning death, was raised from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will return to earth one day.

  • That the Holy Spirit has been sent from the Father. We believe in His convicting and regenerating work, and abiding presence in the true believer. The Holy Spirit indwells all true believers and He has been sent to be the Comforter and Empowerer of the Christian church, to enable believers to produce the fruit of the Holy Spirit and to operate in the gifts of the Holy Spirit according to the scriptures.

  • That all people are sinners and yet made in the image of God. Only repentance and faith in Christ can restore us into fellowship with God.

  • That the Church worldwide is the living spiritual body of Christ, of which He is the Head and that all regenerated persons are members.

  • That the ordinances of Water Baptism and Communion are expression of faith and symbols of celebration done in obedience to His commands.

  • That the Lord Jesus Christ will return visibly to earth, judge the living and the dead, and establish His kingdom reign with the new creation of the heavens and the earth.

  • In what is termed “The Apostles’ Creed” and “Nicene Creed” as embodying the fundamental facts of Christian faith.

Our Leadership

We are an elder-led church meaning the elders oversee every aspect of church life. They practice mutual- accountability and are led by a lead elder who is the “first amongst equals.” In team with their wives, they are men appointed and recognized as having the gift and grace for, leadership. (Ephesians 4:1-3; Hebrews. 13:7, 17)
