Love Inc – Church of the Week

Beginning on Monday, June 12th through Saturday, June 18th, Capital City Church will once again be partnering with Love INC for one week to meet the needs of families in the greater Sacramento area who are in need of help. These requests vary from providing and delivering groceries, clothes, and furniture, to helping someone move or possibly even making a home visit.

The Basics:

We will be working in teams to accomplish a variety of tasks.

• Some will deliver and/or pick-up furniture
• Some will prepare and/or deliver food, clothes or other assistance packages
• Some will answer phones and take requests for help
• Some will be making home visits to determine the legitimacy of needs that have been phoned in

Participants can sign up for whatever time commitment fits their schedule. It can be one morning, afternoon or evening shift during the six-day schedule – or perhaps one full day of service.  Some may even take time off from work to serve the entire week.

Individual sign-ups are necessary and can be done in person on Sunday, Jun 11th at the CCC Information Table, online at loveincsacramento.com, or through a CCC Communitas Group.
